Ancient Bulgarians, who lived on Bulgarian land, created their own callendar system. The Bulgarian Callendar has been reconstrucuted basedon on writen historical artefacts (Namelist of Bulgarian Rulers), Bulgarian national folklore and legends. Undisputed success is the official recognition from UNESCO in 1976, that this is the most perfect and correct Callendar system known to the world. The start of this calendar system lays on the winter solstice (21-st of December) 5505 years before Christ.
This page is an attempt for a computer model of the ancient Bulgarian calendar and its comparison with the modern Gregorian calendar.

Cyrclr Calendar

The cyrcle calendar is similar to a clock, only it does not have the hours and minutes on its front, but rather the days of the year. On the other side of the cyrcle, there are the dates based on Gregorian calendar. On the inner side - the corresponding dates based on the Old Bulgarian Calendar.
